A Mac used for work, and a separate window for charts
The browser route keeps trading and work apart in the simplest way. Nothing is written to the machine, the platform lives in a tab that can be closed at any moment, and signing out leaves no application and no stored session behind for anyone else who uses the computer.
The installed route makes sense on a Mac that is personal and used for charts often. Templates, indicator settings and window layouts persist through restarts and system updates, so the workspace is the same each session instead of being rebuilt from scratch.
Neither choice is permanent, since the account is held by the platform rather than by the machine, and signing in from a phone, a browser or an installed platform reaches the same place.
